DMN President Participates in the 19th Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) General Assembly in Paris, France

H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia had the honor of attending the prestigious 19th Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) General Assembly, which took place in the beautiful city of Paris, France, from 16-17 May 2025. This assembly is a significant event in the academic calendar, bringing together a global network of individuals dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities through the Erasmus Mundus programs.


This flagship assembly attracted over 100 participants, showcasing a rich tapestry of attendees that included not only esteemed guests but also enthusiastic students, accomplished alumni, and dedicated program coordinators. The event served as a vibrant hub for robust discussions, collaborative efforts, and the exchange of best practices across a variety of Erasmus Mundus programs, which are known for their high academic standards and international cooperation. This year’s theme, “Go Green: Connect, Innovate, Sustain”, was particularly poignant, emphasizing EMA’s unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable growth. This commitment is reflected not only in environmental initiatives but also in the cultivation of an international, diverse, and interconnected community that fosters mutual understanding and cooperation among participants from different cultural backgrounds.


Throughout the assembly, our President, H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia, actively engaged in a series of plenary sessions, where he took the opportunity to delve into the significant milestones achieved by the EMA and to learn about key initiatives that are shaping the future of the organization. His participation included casting his vote in the crucial elections for the new EMA President and Vice-President, a process that is vital for the leadership and direction of the association moving forward. Additionally, he attended financial reporting sessions that provided insight into the fiscal health and sustainability of the organization, ensuring transparency and accountability within the association. Networking opportunities were abundant, allowing for meaningful connections to be made, fostering relationships that can lead to future collaborations. Furthermore, he participated in research presentations that showcased innovative projects and findings from various programs, and he enjoyed the cultural night, an event that celebrated the rich diversity of the Erasmus Mundus community through performances, food, and art from different cultures.
