DMN Foundation and Nam Yen United Partner with Hieu Giang Youth Union to Support Vulnerable Students in Quang Tri

DMN Foundation, Nam Yen United Project, and Hieu Giang Youth Union Partner to Support Disadvantaged Students in Hieu Giang Commune, Quang Tri Province



The Nam Yen United Project and the DMN Foundation, in partnership with the Hieu Giang Youth Union, organized a significant Gift-giving ceremony on Friday, July 25, 2025, to provide material and educational support for disadvantaged students throughout the commune.



At the heart of the ceremony was the presentation of 50 gift packages and seven complete sets of study tables and chairs, with a total value of approximately $3,000 USD. This initiative directly supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 and 2, which aim to eliminate poverty and hunger, and advocate for SDG 4, Quality Education



The event also marked a milestone for future educational development with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the three partner organizations. The agreement establishes the "International Student Club" for the 2025-2026 academic year, a new initiative designed to connect local youth with global opportunities. The club will provide a platform for students to practice English, engage with international affairs, and receive mentorship for academic and personal growth, directly contributing to SDG 4, Quality Education.



The ceremony was attended by a host of distinguished guests. Representing the organizing bodies were Lawyer CEO Mme. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - Eunomia Group; Mr. Dinh Nhat Nam - Co-founders of Project and Head of DMN Foundation in the USA and Ms. Dinh Thanh Yen - Co-founders of Project & Member of SDGs Council, alongside H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia - President of the DMN Initiative and Ms. Doan Phuong Nguyen - Member of DMN Secretariat.



They were joined by prominent local government officials, including H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Hung - Former. Member of District Party Standing Committee & Permanent Vice-President of People's Council, Mrs. Nguyen Dieu Hoang - Member of Communal Party Standing Committee & Vice-President of People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quy Nhat Linh - Member of Communal Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Communal Vietnam Fatherland Front & Secretary of the Youth Union, Mr. Le Chan Thanh, Deputy Head of the Social-Culture Department, and other representatives from local schools and authorities.



The organizers described the event as more than a practical action of support, but as a meaningful gift of encouragement, intended to motivate students to overcome difficulties, achieve high results in their studies, and grow into citizens who can contribute positively to Vietnam and the world.
