DMN PRESIDENT PAYS COURTESY CALL ON THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION OF JURISTS (ICJ)

On behalf of the DMN Initiative – SDGs Council – DMN Foundation, H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia, President of the DMN Initiative, paid a formal courtesy call to the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, ahead of the European Youth Week 2026. The visit was conducted upon the official invitation of Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Tineke Strik.


During the official visit to the European Parliament, President Nghia was received to discuss the integration of youth perspectives into global legislative frameworks and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The delegation gained a comprehensive overview of the Parliament’s institutional structure, its legislative functions, and its specialized programs designed to foster young parliamentarian development. The visit emphasized a shared commitment to transparency, accessibility, and democratic accountability within international governance.


Following the parliamentary session, President Dao Manh Nghia proceeded to a working visit at the headquarters of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). This exchange focused on the intersection of the rule of law, human rights, and the evolving challenges of the digital era, reaffirming the DMN Initiative's dedication to legal integrity on a global scale.


These meaningful exchanges mark a significant milestone in the DMN Initiative’s mission to foster international dialogue, build cross-regional partnerships, and amplify youth voices within the world’s most influential democratic and legal institutions.
