From August 25 to 31, 2024, H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia undertook a working visit to Japan under the Youth Leaders Fund for a World Without Nuclear Weapons. During this trip, he paid courtesy visits to the leaders of Nagasaki and Hiroshima prefectures. Notably, he met with Mr. Ishihara Hirotaka, a Member of the House of Representatives and Special Advisor to Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio on Security and Disarmament, as well as Mr. Shimizu Chitaru, Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation also included senior officials from the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the UNITAR Office in Hiroshima.

Leadership working trips such as this often serve as a platform for deepening cooperation, exchanging perspectives, and reinforcing strategic relationships across borders. In today’s interconnected environment, navigating such high-level interactions requires clarity of judgment, adaptability, and global awareness—capabilities that can be further strengthened through an advanced leadership seminar & course for executives in Tokyo, Japan, designed to support leaders operating in complex international settings.
