PRESIDENT OF DMN TOOK PART IN CIMB YOUNG ASEAN LEADERS 2019

The CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders (CYAL) study tour is a scholarship programme for undergraduate students of ASEAN nationality. CYAL 2019 will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 23-27 September 2019, in collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). 

The theme for CYAL 2019 is Sustainable Indigenous Resources for Renewable Energy to be implemented through a collaboration between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia – The National University of Malaysia (UKM) and CIMB. (https://uctc.ukm.my/cyal/)

CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders is a programme with the overarching aim of supporting the exchange of ideas, learning, and cross-cultural experiences among ASEAN youth leaders, and to uplift the quality of life of ASEAN citizens through activities that promote sustainable development, and contribute to building a strong foundation of greater understanding, good neighbourliness and a shared sense of community. 

This year, CIMB Foundation and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) joined forces for the eighth time to host CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders (CYAL) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 23-27 September 2019. With the theme “Sustainable Indigenous Resources for Renewable Energy”, this 5-day seminar aims to train exceptional ASEAN student leaders to develop skills in using local resources as sources of renewable energy across the region and beyond.
